Work Hours
Seven Sisters Vacation Rental business hours are Mon-Fri 9a-6p, Sat/Sun 10a-5p
– Monday thru Friday with rotating occasional Saturday or Sunday (approx 32-40 hours)
– Or part-time, Friday thru Monday (approx 25 hours). Open to alternative part-time hours around family and/or class schedule.
Work Location
This position is for the Avila Beach business office. Operations and laundry services are performed at 2540 Skyway, Santa Maria.
Skills Needed
1. Friendly disposition and desire to provide an outstanding guest experience
2. Ambitious, yet patient and focused
3. 1-3 years vacation rental, bed and breakfast, hotel, event planning, property management and/or related experience
4. 1-3 years marketing experience
5. Strong computer skills (iMac; Word, Pages; Excel, Numbers)
6. Hands-on knowledge with social media marketing websites and tools
7. Hands-on knowledge of reservation and booking systems a plus
8. High school diploma or equivalent, college degree
9. Valid CA drivers license and insurance
Compensation
Base hourly rate depends on experience. Employer provides a monthly cell phone allowance. Mileage reimbursement for use of personal automobile.

Work Location
Housekeeper reports to 2540 Skyway, Santa Maria for 7SVR or own transportation to work site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Counts, folds and carries linens.
2. Change and make beds according to the policy.
3. Replenish home supplies, such as bedding, coffee supplies, toiletries.
4. Move furniture, as needed for cleaning.
5. Clean interior home, exterior patios, elevators, stairs and other work areas.
6. Sweep and mop floors.
7. Vacuum carpets, upholstered furniture and curtains.
8. Dust or polish furniture and equipment.
9. Polish appliances, fixtures and fittings.
10.Wash windows, walls, ceilings, doors and wood trim.
11. Empty trash cans.
12.Transports garbage and waste to the disposal area.
13.Replenish bathroom items.
14.Accommodate guest requests.
15.All other tasks assigned by a manager or supervisor.
Skills and Abilities
1. Applicant must lift and/or move regularly up to 25-30 pounds.
2. Understand simple instructions.
3. Learn simple procedures and techniques.
4. Ability to use email and text messaging.
5. Must know and use reasonable care for the safety of guests.
